UI/UX is a Vibe: Leveraging Empathy to Build a Successful Interface

Gratefully, I was invited back to present at Cigna’s Women in Technology Conference as there was much positive feedback on the ‘UI/UX on FLEEK’ talk last year. To differentiate from last year’s talk just a bit (and to also be slightly hip in connecting with Gen Z audience), this year’s talk was titled “UI/UX is a vibe: #GoodVibesOnly.” I highlighted the importance of UI/UX process being beneficial in keeping the business team and engineering team on the same page while keeping a user-centric design in mind for a clearer project vision.
As an example of UI/UX being #GoodVibesOnly, in happier business team, happier engineers and happier users, I showcased the design process for Data Capture 2.0 Project.
