Utilizing UI/UX Methodogy for a Clearer Vision to Success

Presented at 2023 Cigna’s TECDP Foundations Conference | Wed 08/02/2023

With the release of the newly revamped Global Wellness Challenge a month prior to the presentation date, I wanted to showcase the UI/UX process that led to the platform that stands today. In order for the talk to be interactive and engaging, there were two sections that utilized participation through Slido.

For the first interaction, I asked the audience to select a design that they gravitated towards. The majority responded that the concise and organized information led them to absorb information faster in design B. I then went on to detail what UI/UX decisions led to B being the more effective design. I wanted to showcase how small UI/UX changes can lead to an impact on how users engage differently.

As an example of user research, I included audience participation to gather feedback on the Global Wellness Challenge. I asked five questions (seen below) via Slido. Of the 41 associates attending the talk, 64% were active participants of the Global Wellness Challenge.
