Competitive Research conducted by Cigna suggests that there’s a new trend in the insurance industry: customers are choosing to create their own health plan by taking parts of various insurance plans from multiple companies rather than sticking to a whole plan from one insurer. Evernorth, a newly-launched Cigna brand, wanted to participate in this trend. Project known as Evernorth Behavioral Health intended to create a platform specifically to guide customers that are looking to take parts of Cigna’s offers. | Desktop Design

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Cigna’s insurance registration process is not flexible to allow customers that want to create their own health plan to select part of an insurance plan. This does not leave any room for Cigna to adapt to the recent trends of purchasing parts of plans from various insurers.

INTENDED SOLUTION

Create a website that is targeted towards attracting customers that are looking to purchase part of an insurance plan (medical, dental, vision and/or life insurance).

UI/UX GOAL

Design an overall clean website that is straightforward with only relevant information on each screen that would not overwhelm users but allows enough flexibility by providing various options. Organization of the information would be key in accomplishing this goal.
